Make-up in Fashion, Editorial,TV and Photography

It is hard to survive in the fashion and TV industries nowadays. There are so many models, so many variations, it is a matter of luck to be seen and chosen.

Depending on the strategy for the shooting sessions with make-up I can express all features of my model's face, which are important for the professional shoots and cover those, that are not very attractive.

However to achieve a really good image the co-operation between photographer and make-up artist is essential.

Make-up Can Work Miracles

Make-up can work miracles - just look at celebrities. On screen they look perfect, with wide eyes and lush lips, but in those sneaky paparazzi shots they look just like the rest of us. Their perfection is down to make-up and yours can be too.

How to Apply Basic Eye Make up

Eyes are the first thing anyone notices about our face and to give the right impression yours need to be bright. No matter what eye shades you are using, this technique will create a flattering make-up look with colour that really lasts. First apply a foundation on your eyelid. Eyeshadows will last longer if it is not applied directly to bare skin. Then touch with a powder to fix the foundation. Then choose your shades. You can use make-up to bring out your eyes. If you have small eyes, use a shimmery or light shadows in the middle of the upper lid and blend well. Take the darkest shade and, using a sponge applicator, apply a thin short line of this to the outer corner of your top lid and around the bottom under you lushes. Blend well. Fill in your brows. Choose an eyebrow pencil that is the same colour. Curl the eyelashes and apply lots of thickening mascara.

Make up for Lips

No make-up look is complete without lip colour. Lipstick, lip gloss or even just a slick of lip liner will balance heavy eye looks and give fokus to the face when you are using more neutral eye shades.
For long lasting lipstick apply vaseline, then use a soft toothbrush to remove dead skin cells, brushing gently. Aplly your foundation as you normally would, making sure you lightly cover your lips too. Apply suitable colour of lip liner and then apply your lipstick with a lipbrush, blending from the middle down to the corners of the mouth.
